Rot hides under paint. During the walk-through we probe trim, sills, fascia and soffit, especially at roof edges, gutters and window bottoms where water sits.
Replace with the right material
Fiber cement trim, PVC and primed wood each have their place. We recommend material based on location and exposure, and we match existing profiles where the replacement needs to blend in.
Seal and paint
New material is primed, joints are caulked, and everything is painted to match. If the cause of the rot is a gutter or roof issue, we will point it out so it can be fixed.

Questions about trim, fascia & soffit repair
Can you do rot repair without painting the whole house?
Yes. New material is primed and painted to match as closely as possible. A full repaint gives the most uniform result.
What causes fascia rot?
Most often water from gutters, roof edges without drip edge, or failed caulk. We look for the source during the walk-through.
